With Open Arms

What are three words that you associate with Ireland, and why?
Friendship, motherhood, opportunity! In the grey Irish weather, I received the warmest smiles!
I love Ireland, and I’m Irish by heart. I was born in Brazil, and like many other students, I moved to Dublin to learn English.
I want to thank your beautiful country for welcoming me with open arms.
Ireland, you were like a mother to me! You gave me guidance and teachings to learn and grow. You prepared me to fly high and see the world through a different lens. Today, I work for a multinational in Thailand, and when people ask me, “Where is home?” my instant response is Ireland & Brazil.
I can’t wait to see the Aer Lingus “welcome” sign at Dublin Airport and the smile of the Dublin Bus Driver who is waiting outside of the airport.
See you soon & thank you, Ireland, for all the friendship, motherhood and opportunities. Ireland, you are a blessing to my life! Nollaig Shona duit! ๐๐๐งก
