“As an Irish person I…”
When and where were you happiest?
May 2017 on a balcony overlooking the Dublin cityscape at sunset in the first flush of a now lost love.
Where would you most like to live?
I could never be happy in just one place. In my lottery-winning fantasies I would live between the seafront in Monkstown, Dublin, within a 5 minute stroll of Seapoint, my family home in Rann na Feirste in Donegal, and in a beautiful flat on Bonnington Square in London, which is close to where I currently live, only much nicer.
What do you most value in your friends?
Kindness, intelligence, mischief.
What is your most treasured possession?
A ring my mother had made for me using gold and some precious stones from old rings of my Granny’s.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My mother, Maighread Nī Dhomhnaill.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Curiosity, passion, impatience.
What is your motto?
Ní neart go cur le chéile.
