I was born in a village called Cloonlough, 2 Miles from Ballinlough, Co Roscommon, 71 years ago. I wrote this several years ago as a lasting memory of the days when I returned home for Christmas. Delighted to say it is now recited by our adult children every year together with family traditions mentioned, story telling, songs and dance.
