Saint Brigid’s Day 2022: 50 Years of Irish Women Shaping the EU

On St. Brigid’s Day 2022, as we mark 50 years of Ireland’s membership of the EU, the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU will host a webinar featuring trail-blazing Irish women who have led and shaped the EU.

The event will be broadcast live at:

13:00 (Irish time)/14:00 (Brussels time) – Tuesday 1 February 2022.

We will be joined by:

• Anne Anderson, former Irish Permanent Representative to the EU

• Catherine Day, former Secretary General of the European Commission

• Emily O’Reilly, European Ombudsman

The event will be moderated by Ambassador Barbara Cullinane, Ireland’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU. It will feature a Q&A session via the Sli.do application.
