Goddess, muse or saint, Brigit has many colourful faces. In this piece, she is a muse to artists, symbolizing abundance, renewal and creative inspiration. She plays the harp to instigate the creative spirit and hones an individual’s imaginative spark with her powerful anvil. This piece is a celebration of art, colours and women in their powerful, radiant energy.
Claire Prouvost is a French, Dublin based artist, illustrator and muralist. Her colourful, bold and minimal style is inspired by the cubist art movement. She loves to diversify her practice and work on a variety of mediums, from digital illustration, acrylic painting to large-scale murals. She explores the complexity of relationships, connections and feelings, capturing these through deconstructed figures, intuitive lines and the expressive of colourful shapes.
Programme part of Brigit 2022: Dublin City Celebrating Women, a Dublin City Council initiative.
